I am excited and honoured to be joining The Midwifery Group - to live, learn and serve the community on the traditional unceded territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations. It is such a privilege to be welcomed onto Team 1 and into your care. The Midwifery Group is where my midwifery journey began. Initially as a client! I had my two children guided by the care of midwives, after which it became very clear to me that I needed midwifery to forever be a part of my life. The care I received was so expert, empowering and nurturing, I knew I wanted to make clients and their families feel as respected and celebrated as I had been throughout my care.

While completing the Midwifery Program through the Department of Family Practice in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC, I was taught by many experienced midwives and families alike. Ranging from Vancouver, to New Westminster and the Tri-Cities in the lower mainland, to a rural placement that brought me to Hazelton and Smithers in Northern BC.

I currently live in Vancouver in a multigenerational home with my family. I was born and raised in Richmond, BC, and have traveled throughout our beautiful province, exploring the many communities and cultures that abound. In my spare time you will find me in the kitchen, not following the recipe - cooking, baking, and creating, with some gardening and yoga thrown in for good measure!

Dear TMG families - thank you for your trust and willingness to share one of life’s most intimately powerful experiences with me. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and working together throughout your care.
